My name is Ignazio and my motto is “viaggiaresempre” (travellingforever)
I want to tell my travels with a rich photographic documentation, suggestions, itineraries, pictures and a lot of useful information for those who want to follow my tracks.
I live in Mogliano Veneto, but I’m from Venice, a city I am in love with.
I’m often in Venice and in the summer months, I enjoy the lagoon with my motor boat.
I am a very sporty person who spends most of his time at the court, and, in winter, skiing.
Not only in our beautiful ski resorts in the Dolomites, but also, for one week a year, in the French Savoie: Mottaret, in the heart of the Trois Vallées.
My motto is “viaggiaresempre” (travellingforever) because I am an eager traveller
If possible, I try to plan my trips autonomously.
Why my site?
Certainly for a personal vanity: I’m fond of photography and I enjoy sharing with others the moments that I was able to stop with the camera.
I am proud that my photos have been published in several major publications.
For me the most important is the first one: the INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM published by UNESCO (09/2003), which published a picture of mine taken in Varanasi (or Benares) on the banks of the Ganges.
Initially, in order to realize my site I took advantage of the great experience of my friend George and “viaggiaresempre”, was the clone of his website, “Silver collection” by visiting which you will get a culture on silver objects from around the world.
Recently, the site has been completely renewed.
I chose a specialized Company, NodoPiano which used the WordPress platform. They did a great job and never end to improve the site.
On this occasion, “viaggiaresempre.it” became a multilingual site adding the English and Spanish versions.
The translations were made by Laura, my favorite translator.
This opportunity also aims to share with others my travel experiences, to be able to acquire others’ and to exchange information with other travellers.
What is certain it’s that my photographic “heritage”, represented by more than 16,000 slides, got spoiled over time, despite the precautions taken to protect it (keeping slides in the dark and at constant humidity 40%). Consequently, many analogic photos, even if processed in digital (see below), show all their age.
It was therefore necessary to save them digitally.
For this huge and delicate work, I turned to a specialized company, the New Service of Padua that satisfied me fully.
I and my wife successfully participated in the TV show “Alle falde del Kilimangiaro” with the video of our trip to Burma; the video that can be seen by clicking the following link:
I have also gathered in a slideshow the photos of children and women in the world. The video can be seen by clicking the following link:
Little by little I will insert all my travels, but I’m always late, at least two years.
I invite my readers to come back to visit me regularly to find the new included trips.
